The cost is $6 per person.

Reflection on Environmental Stewardship

Saturday October 29
1:00 pm

Braeside Presbyterian Church

David (the pianist at Braeside) is hosting an event that everyone from Westmount is invited and welcome to attend. It will be a time of learning and reflection on climate change and environmental stewardship at Braeside on Saturday, Oct. 29th at 1:00 pm.

There will be brief presentations, spiritual reflections, and singing as we learn more about how climate change is affecting the world around us and how we are called to respond in God’s love to a hurting creation.

Everyone is welcome, so feel free to bring a friend. No registration or sign-up necessary, just come!

Young Adults – “Living religiously in an irreligious world”

Sunday October 2
2:00 pm
First Presbyterian Church

The young adults of the Edmonton-Lakeland Presbytery have decided to have a group for Young Adults. In fact, they are kind of excited about this!

At their first meeting, they will do some socializing and then discuss “Living religiously in an irreligious world”.

They hope you will all come out and join them and do bring friends. They are looking forward to good discussion and maybe debate.

Sunday September 25
1:30 – 3:30 pm
Edmonton Corn Maze ()

This Sunday we are going to the Edmonton Corn Maze! There we’ll explore the farm, have some fun, and try to not get lost.

Those worshiping at Braeside will hang out at Westmount Mall after the service until the First Church youth are ready to head out to the corn maze. The cost is $10.00.

Welcome back!

Sunday September 11
7- 9 pm
North Glenora Community League ()

Welcome back to the first youth group meeting of this (school) year! Canada Youth 2016 was a great experience and we look forward to the next one in 2018.

While we are “wandering in the wilderness” without a church building, we will be meeting at the North Glenora Community League, 13535-109A ave. But we will probably move around to many locations this season. This will give us a chance to meet lots of new people and see new places!

So come down this Sunday and we’ll have some fun rain or shine, cold or hot. Bring weather appropriate clothing!

Worship at Coronation School

Correction: we are not moving back to Coronation School until October 2nd. Until then, we will continue to worship with Braeside Presbyterian Church at 10 am.
