Worshiping at Braeside

Braeside Presbyterian Church

Westmount Presbyterian Church will begin worshiping within Braeside Presbyterian Church as of Sunday June 26.

The Coronation School gym is under construction, so we had to move out. We will worship at Braeside for July and August, and move back to the gym in September. Our thanks to the members and adherents of Braeside for taking us in for this time of transition.

We used the metaphor of “wandering in the wilderness” as a description of our present circumstances. It really is proving to be a good metaphor.

Braeside Presbyterian Church is located at 6 Bernard Drive, St Albert.

Next Sunday is our graduation and teacher appreciation service. During the worship service, we will show our appreciation for those students who have reached important milestones in their education and for the Sunday School teachers in our congregation.

The new group, “Musing with the Minister”, will meet again on Wednesday June 29th at McQueen Lodge.

Come visit, ponder, and muse! Let us stay connected during the “wandering in the wilderness”.

The next meeting of the Friendship Group will be this Wednesday at 1 pm at the residence of Margaret Ness.

Annual Work Weekend
June 10 @ 7 pm to June 12 @ 2 pm

Our camping season is just around the corner and there are lots of things to be done! We have tasks for any and all skill levels—all help is greatly appreciated!

Get a group together from your church, your family, or even neighbourhood and come lend a hand for the weekend, or just one day.

We promise lots of good food, fellowship, and that you will come away knowing you have helped get the site ready for the summer.

Help us kick off the summer as we celebrate this year’s amazing KREW and declare the camping season officially open. Grab a friend or two, hop in the car, and take the short drive to the camp and soak in the beauty of God’s special place by the lake. The service will be followed by a FREE BBQ SUPPER!
