Westmount Presbyterian Church
The 141st General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada determined that sessions, congregations, presbyteries, and synods should spend a year of prayer, study, and conversation regarding the subject of Human Sexuality. You are invited to join a gathering to explore and discuss themes based in the Study Guide Body, Mind and Soul: Thinking together about human sexuality and sexual orientation in The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Leadership will be provided by the Presbyters and the Synod’s Director of Regional Ministries.
Please download the resource Body, Mind and Soul Study Guide and read pages 79 – 114 before the day.
All members and adherents of Presbyterian congregations in the Presbytery of Edmonton-Lakeland are welcome.

The Westmount Christian Council will be holding its Annual Thanksgiving Worship at Inglewood Christian Reform Church (12330 – 113 avenue) at 6:30pm on October 4th. Let us join with our Christian friends in worship and fellowship.

Because we want to show our appreciation, there’s a get together with fun and games at Westmount for all Presbyterian kids up to grade 9!
In the Fall, on Saturdays, we will be holding a “confirmation” class. This will be a four week course examining what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. At the end of the course, participants will be given the option of confessing their faith and becoming a member of the church of Jesus Christ.
