This Sunday we are going to the Edmonton Corn Maze! There we’ll explore the farm, have some fun, and try to not get lost.
Those worshiping at Braeside will hang out at Westmount Mall after the service until the First Church youth are ready to head out to the corn maze. The cost is $10.00.

North Glenora Community League ()
Welcome back to the first youth group meeting of this (school) year! Canada Youth 2016 was a great experience and we look forward to the next one in 2018.
While we are “wandering in the wilderness” without a church building, we will be meeting at the North Glenora Community League, 13535-109A ave. But we will probably move around to many locations this season. This will give us a chance to meet lots of new people and see new places!
So come down this Sunday and we’ll have some fun rain or shine, cold or hot. Bring weather appropriate clothing!

West Edmonton Mall – Entrance 48
This week we’ll be doing a scavenger hunt at West Edmonton Mall, starting at 4. We’re going to be taking photos of weird and wonderful things, so, unlike other weeks, bring your cell phones!
We will be meeting just inside Entrance 48, by the skating rink.

Get ready for Laser Tag this Sunday afternoon! We’ll leave from the church after eating, so bring a lunch.
It’s $17.00 for the two games, and we need 20 people, so let Annabelle know if you’re bringing a friend.

This Sunday we are hosting the Westmount Christian Council for a worship service at 6:30. Those of you in the youth choir will be singing, and those who are not will have small parts in the service; Annabelle will give them to you before the service.
Afterwards, there will be some food in the CE Wing. Once you have eaten, we will move into the sanctuary to continue with our activities.

Prepare yourselves for Jello Wars this Sunday! Be ready to eat, sculpt, spill, and (NOT) step in jello. It’s going to get a bit messy, but it’ll be a whole lot of fun!

NO MEETING
There is no meeting this Sunday due to high school exams. Take your time to study, be well rested, and do well on your tests.
Next Saturday (January 30), we’re invited to the Launchpad trampoline park with the St. Andrew’s youth group.

We’re having our first meeting of 2016 this Sunday! It’ll be great to see you all again.
We’ll talk about Canada Youth 2016 and plan our activities for the Winter and Spring sessions, so bring your ideas. And don’t worry; we haven’t forgotten about doing some fun games as well!

We’re celebrating St. Nicholas Day this Sunday with other youth groups around Edmonton! Since we’re hosting the party, we need to make our guests feel welcome. That means talking and mingling with them, not just family and friends.
Those of us who wish to practice Christmas singing with Mary should come early at 6:30. Everyone else should come a little early to greet our guests and show them where the coat racks are.

Get ready to stay awake for 12 hours (9PM-9AM) this Friday!
You only have a few more days to collect pledges. It’s important to have more than just Annabelle’s pledge.
We have lots of activities planned to keep you up. We’ll also be reading through a few books of the New Testament throughout the night and morning.
