Sundays
7 – 9 pm
First Presbyterian Church

After the Christmas and New Year break, we’re delighted to have you back with us! We have a bunch of exciting activities planned for the next six months, and we can’t wait to share them with you: Youth Schedule Winter/Spring 2017.

Regular activities start and end at First Presbyterian Church. All activities are subject to change. (Of special note: if weather conditions align, we may spend a Sunday tobogganing!)

It’s almost the end of 2016 and Youth Group is over for the year. Thank you for spending time learning, laughing, and having fun with us this Fall. It was a joy to have have you at our weekly get-togethers.

We will be back again on Sunday, January 8, 2017!

Until then, wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

We cannot use the Coronation School gym on the following dates, so we will be worshiping at Braeside Presbyterian Church. We hope you will make every effort to join us there:

  • December 24 @ 7pm – Christmas Eve
  • December 25 @ 10am – Christmas Day
  • January 1 @ 10am – New Year’s Day

Check out our Advent Christmas page for more information.

St. Nicholas Day Party

Sunday December 11
7 – 9 pm
First Presbyterian Church

We’ve invited other Presbyterian youth groups in Edmonton to join us for a St. Nicholas Day party! Come to learn about St. Nicholas, eat gingerbread cookies, give and receive presents, spend time with friends, and celebrate the Advent season.

Because we are hosting this event, we need to come a bit early to welcome our guests.

The North Glenora Community League Neighbourhood Club invites you to Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney & Personal Directives:

  • Do you have a will?
  • Is it current?

This information session is open to all people.

Wake-a-thon 2016

Friday November 11
9:00 pm – 9:00 am
First Presbyterian Church

This year’s Wake-a-thon is at First Church from 9pm Friday to 9am Saturday. We’ll watch a movie, play some games, run around, share food, learn from the Bible, and try to stay awake!

Afterwards, you can collect your pledges and hand them in all at once. Since you’ll need time to recover, we won’t have a regular meeting on Sunday, November 13.

PRESBYTERIAN WORLD SERVICE AND DEVELOPMENT is there!

Hurricane Matthew has struck Haiti leaving devastation in its wake. PWS&D will be responding through our local partners. Assistance in the form of food, emergency non-food items, shelter, and water and sanitation services will be provided by the ACT Alliance in Haiti. Affected communities in Cuba and the Dominican Republic are also receiving assistance through the ACT Alliance.

You can help by making a donation to PWS&D. Place your offering in an envelope and mark it PWS&D. Put your envelop number on the outside of the envelope.
